Registration for 2026-27 Season 
is NOW OPEN!!!

How to Register 

Each division below will have two registration buttons available:

1️⃣ Full Season Registration
This option secures your athlete’s place for the entire 2026–27 season.

2️⃣ Free 2-Day Trial Registration
This option allows your athlete to attend our free trial practices on April 13 and April 15 before committing to the full season.Families who choose the trial option will have the opportunity to complete full registration after attending the trial practices.

Simply click the appropriate button under your athlete’s division and follow the prompts.You will be asked to create a TeamSnap One account or log in if you are an existing user. Please read each section carefully and complete all required fields.Additional information regarding evaluations/placements, team details, schedules, and next steps will be shared after registration.

JoCo Phoenix AYC is committed to making competitive cheer accessible to as many families as possible. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available each season to help offset registration and program costs.Families interested in applying may submit an application using the following link: https://forms.gle/4b6Lwa2aoRGdvp3U7

 

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee scholarship approval or a specific award amount. All applications are reviewed confidentially, and scholarship awards are determined based on available funds and demonstrated need. Our board of directors will review applications and reach out directly to confirm your application status and any scholarship amount awarded.

 

If you wish to use available fundraising monies towards your registration fee, please contact our treasurer at treasurerjocophoenixayc@gmail to receive a code to be used at checkout. 

 

We do offer a 50% sibling discount which will automatically apply at checkout. If you do not see the discount applied, please contact jocophoenixayc@gmail.com.

 

Registration closed on 5/31/26 and all registration balances must be paid in full by June 1, 2026. Refund requests will only be considered if submitted on or before June 1, 2026. After this date, registration fees are non-refundable.

Phoneix Division

Ages 4 - 16 years old

(Age as of July 1, 2026)

Firebirds Division

For individuals with cognitive or physical disabilities 5 - 21 years old

(Age as of July 1, 2026)

2026 Registration Information and Fees

Registration fee:

$600.00

This is a one time fee for the whole year that covers competition frees and organizational overhead. We offer and sibling discount (1st sibling is full price and each additional sibling receives 1/2 off registration) and scholarship opportunities.​​

Accessory fee:

$100.00

This includes (2) practice shirts, (2) practice shorts, (1) practice bow, and (1) customize backpack

Explanation of Fees

 

As a non-profit, 501(c)3 and an all volunteer run organization a registration fee is required to offer programs.

 

​Registration fee covers all costs that are directly related back to our cheer program. Some examples are (not inclusive): Decals, Spirit & Team Packs, Coaches Certifications, Post-season/misc. expense, Lights, Music, Team parent admission fees, Indoor practice space, Competition gifts – Locals/Regionals, Spirit week/gifts, Regional Parade Expenses, Uniform Supplementals, Gym/Floor Mats/Equipment.

​The registration fee is what keeps our organization afloat. It covers all our general and administrative expenses. Some examples are (not inclusive):Insurance, Mailbox rental, AYC dues, Tax preparation, Office supplies / misc., Registration/Website Fees, Background checks, Storage (as needed)​.

Joining JoCo Phoenix AYC involves some necessary paperwork. The required documents include:

 

  • Emergency Consent Form

  • Medical Release Form

  • Code of Conduct

  • Birth Certificate (original or certified copy)

  • Image Release Waiver

  • Waiver and Release of Liability

  • Concussion Annual Statement and Acknowledgement Form

  • Report Cards (if applicable) 

Please note these forms will be available in TeamSnap and must be turned into our Secretary by the start of competition season. All required paperwork must be collected by August 4th to continue participation in the program.

  1. Q: What age groups do you offer programs for?                                                                               

  2. A: We offer programs for various age groups, ranging from 4-16 years old.

Q: How can my child join the cheerleading team?                                                                                   A: To join our team, please visit the "Registration" section on our website and follow the instructions for enrollment. New seasons begin in Spring (end of March/beginning of April) and end in February.

  6. Q: What are the costs associated with joining the team?                                                                       A: The costs include a registration fee, accessory fees, and travel expenses. Detailed pricing can be found on our "Programs" page.

  8. Q: What is the time commitment required for cheerleading?                                                             A: Team members are expected to attend 2-3 practices per week, along with additional choreography sessions and up to 4 scheduled competitions throughout the season.

  10. Q: Do you offer any scholarships or financial assistance?                                                                       A: Yes, we offer scholarships and financial assistance for eligible families. Please contact us for more information on how to apply.

  12. Q: What safety measures are in place for participants?                                                                         A: Safety is our top priority. All coaches are trained in first aid and CPR, and we follow strict safety protocols during practices and competitions. We also ensure that all routines are appropriate for the skill level of the participants.

  15. A: Participants should wear comfortable, athletic clothing, cheer shoes, and bring a water bottle. Once accesories have arrived your athlete is expected to wear the Joco Phoenix practice attire.

  17. Q: How often do teams compete?                                                                                                           A: Our teams compete in 3-4 competitions per season, including local, regional, and national competitions.

  18. Q: Can parents watch practices?                                                                                                             A: While we encourage parental involvement, we ask that parents respect the practice environment.

  21. A: Parents can get involved through our parent volunteer program, assisting with events, fundraisers, and team support activities.
